As Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department and managing Director, Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation Limited (KMRCL), he was responsible for planning and execution of the East West Metro Rail Project, Kolkata, which is a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) funded mega project of Rs. 5000 crores of the Central and State Governments Managing Director, West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Company Limited (WBHIDCO) for more than five years, he was responsible for planning and construction of a new township neighbouring Calcutta covering an area of 3500 Ha with a targeted population of 15 lakhs.

Successfully executed JICA funded Calcutta Transport Infrastructure Development Project (CTIDP) of Rs. 400 crores + value and constructed five flyovers in the Calcutta mega-polis Managing Director in Haldia Petro Chemical Limited 18 months on Annual turnover of over Rs. 10.000 crores and overall staff strength of more than 5000
