Work Experience

A Specialised litigation lawyer with extensive work experience in Corporate matters, Direct & Indirect Taxes, contracts, Labour laws, intellectual property management, banking-finance and corporate - commercial transactions; having excellent pleading, drafting and negotiation skills, the ability to steer transactions . Was enrolled in Delhi Bar Council on August, 1990 after graduating from the University of Delhi, Campus Law Centre. In 1989, while studying in Law School, she joined Amarchand & Mangaldas (A&M) Solicitors & Advocates in New Delhi as a trainee and subsequently, was appointed as a Junior Associate in August 1990. In March of 1991, she was sent to Calcutta to open the Calcutta Branch Office. She was admitted to West Bengal Bar Council. She was promoted to Senior Counsel and was associated with the Firm for last 21 years. During that period of time she practiced in Supreme Court, High Court and Lower Courts (Alipore, City Civil and Barasat Court). She participated in tribunals on Trademarks, Debt Recovery Tribunal & Company Law Board. Industrstrial and Commercial Law specialising in Litigation, Merger & Acquisition, Joint Venture & Foreign Collaboration, Real Estate and Arbitration( International & Domestic).

Presently started a Law firm in the name of ANS Associates, solicitors from April 2011, in Kolkata with a niche practice. The firm is acting as the legal service provider for the following clients :
